March 3, 1974 - May 3, 2009 Efrain Gerard Arredondo, 35, of Kyle, passed away on Sunday, May 03, 2009. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor John McCaffrey officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Efrain was born in Bryan, Texas on March 3, 1974, to Julian and Yolanda Arredondo. His early childhood was spent in Bryan. Efrain graduated from Bryan High School in 1992. He proudly served for 17 years in the U.S. Postal Service, his most recent position was as an Account Executive. Efrain received his Bachelor of Public Administration degree at Texas State University. Efrain and Bridget Antony met at Texas State University. They were married on June 5, 1999, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. Efrain had a wonderful, outgoing personality and he never met a stranger. He was a loving son, brother, father, cousin, nephew, grandson, God-father, husband and adored uncle. He leaves behind countless friends and will be remembered as an engaging, selfless and humble man. His commitment to his family and friends shined throughout his life. Efrain was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence Chavarria, of Bryan; his grandparents, Severo and Elisa Arredondo, also of Bryan. Survivors include his wife, Bridget; and son, Lucas of Kyle; parents, Julian and Yolanda Arredondo, of Bryan; brother, Chris Arredondo and wife, Kathy, of Bryan; niece, Aubree; brother, Frank Arredondo and wife, Kristi, of Indianapolis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Armand and Karen Antony, of Sequin; and numerous family and friends. Allison Sitton (Knobel)

 July 2, 1974 - September 8, 2011Allison Knobel Sitton, 37, of Cypress, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2011 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, in the arms of her beloved husband, Daron Sitton, and surrounded by her closest family. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 11, at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive in Klein. The funeral service is set for 11 a.m. on Monday, September 12, at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 5830 Bermuda Dunes in Houston. Graveside services in College Station, Texas will be at 3 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2011. With Daron's unwavering support, Allison fought a courageous seven-year battle with breast cancer, inspiring those who loved her with her powerful Christian witness. Allison was born in Evanston, Illinois but grew up in Bryan, Texas from age three. She graduated from Bryan High School and was active in school choral music and in youth activities of Bryan's First United Methodist Church. After graduating from Texas A&M University, Allison served as an elementary school teacherin the Bryan Independent School District for eight years, the last two as a BISD Master Mentor Teacher assisting new teachers. Moving to Cypress after her marriage, she taught in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD during 2006-07 before staying home to raise her sons. Allison and her family were active members of John Wesley United Methodist Church. Her family is grateful for so many who have cared for them.She was preceded in death by her younger brother Matthew. Allison is survived by Daron and their sons, Grant Matthew and Connor, as well as by her parents, Dale and Tina Knobel of Granville, Ohio, grandmother Gwynne Knobel of Hudson, Ohio, and parents-in-law Victor and Joan Sitton of Sugarland. Those who wish to make donations in her memory are encouraged to do so to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center or John Wesley United Methodist Church.Arrangements are in the care of Klein Funeral Home16131 Champion Forest DriveSpring, Texas 77379 (281)320-2674
